Here is my lovely free motion meandering. It got better as I went along and look like stippling in some parts!

SOme pukering in the backing and some (not much) thread mess too. I didn't pick it out and start all over, this is it. I will do MUCH better next time


I think it turned out good for my first REAL quilt.

I am taking a class on Free Motion in a few weeks.
Yippee, congratulations, Renee! This looks fabulous. I bet you will become an expert at free motion soon, especially with that class. Great job!

ReplyDeleteI have been offline for about a week due to illness in our family (the dreaded swine flu!) and was so thrilled when I came on and saw your post title in my reading list! I am just so excited for you! It really is an accomplishment for us girls, you know, the first quilt and all - I feel like now I can finish mine too, thanks for the inspiration chick!!
