This was one project we did today.

Gingerbread dress

A quick Birthday gift for my daughters friend.

I had some of this Timeless treasures fabric left over and I whipped up one of these again. I only lined the bodice again. Had nothing to reverse it with that really coordinated. It is a size 7 and looks so big to me.
My husband said don't add anything to it. It will look like a craft...this is his way of saying less is better. Any opinions. I will be adding Gingerbread buttons to the straps.

Here have some leaves!!

Here's a new jumper I wipped up with a pattern that I just WON!!!

I have wanted this pattern forever!

I did alter it some. I just made a boice lining. I didn't have enough of the fabric for the inside and it would've been reversible if I had. I had gotten this idea from my Marieke pattern.

And this was my first attempt at the bias tape. It turned out good and easy, but when I attached it I missed something. I will try it again. It looks great anyways. I am making another one VERY soon as a Birthday gift for Genesis little friend.

Oh yeah, can you see her little braided crown in her hair?

She loved it!

Sewing again!!

Back to sewing again.

Genesis wore it all day the other day.
I am also sewing a jumper and 4 stockings out of burlap...
anyone sew with burlap?
Do I just sew it normal? I am not sure about the thread or the stitches?

Field trip

Here we are being goofy waiting for the field trip to start.

And here is the puppet show!
Here is Mr. Kerner
There were about 65 in our group, we had to split up. Here is some of our group.

Some of the other puppets

and another goofy one...

Happy Halloween!!

Genesis and Daddy had fun with these spiders we made out of paper plates!! We hung them in the hallway to scare him!!

We went to a fall festival at the mall and Genesis and a friend were in a costume contest!

Then here is the Princess Cat Aristocrat costume!
I was just going to do leotard and tights, but didn't want her parading around in just a tight leotard, so we added a dress and tiara, for a princess touch. After all Kats are Princesses!!!

Last minute I threw together an Alley cat Mommy costume. It really wasn't about ME, so I didn't care!
