This is the "Love that Remains" quilt I just finished for my brother and his wife.
These are mostly vintage fabrics from my Father in Law!
9 patch with a grid quilting pattern. I used my walking foot for the first time!
The pieced back with a single heart in the middle.
I am hooked on this binding tutorial and have tried and loved it twice here at The Somtimes Crafter.
I appliqued lace hearts and left the edges to fray. Reminds me of hearts that have been through stuff yet remain.
This is a generous Lap sized quilt, it just needs a label!
Beautiful quilt! ...and the binding looks great!
ReplyDeleteBeautful Renee, wow!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is beautiful! I love the hearts, and also the cool effect the quilting made on the back too. What a lucky couple!
