Fabric for the quilt along

These are my fabrics for the quilt along and I am a little in question to the midddle fabrics...

I am using up stash fabric a mix of vintage and newer.

If anyone has an opinion about these fabrics please share. Do they coordinate?

Tea Party Birthday

We went to a great Birthday the other day. It was at a tea party house.

Look at all the dresses and shoes!
Then manners lessons!

Then beautified!
And accessorized!

Here is the lovely Birthday family.
There were the two Birthday girls. Even the adults dressed up!

Here are some of the cuties!

Aint she sweet!?

Then the tea party.

A teapot cake...

These are coordinating outfits that I made the Birthday girls.

The Party

What a perfect day!

We went to the stables and for $35 for 1 hour...

5 girls got to ride Frank.

Then cupcakes and gifts at the park right there,
we got this chocolate muffin recipe from the Holly Hobbie website here. So yummy!

And then played at the park

Um yeah a bit too much spinning on the tire swing one got sick and another almost did.

I made 5 of these from here. And stuffed them with goodies!

With red minky that I have had in my stash.
I got the pattern from thelongthread.
A dream come true!
To the castle.
A stroll through the royal gardens.
are you a Princess?...
But of course Prince Charming Daddy.
To visit the Queen!

Baby doll quilt and...

I downloaded my pictures this morning and it looks like someone...
no, there were 2 that hijacked my camera.

Anyways, I just wanted to show of my number 3 quilt.
This is my favorite quiltso far, because I made it with fabrics from my daughters old clothing. It is uneven and a bit wonky. I am kinda teaching myself here.
I am ready to try again.

This will be for Genesis and her babies!

Birthday gift for my Mom

When I went home to my Mom's in Feb. she picked out this Lakehouse fabric to go with the embroidery that I had made her. Here it is finished!

And the back...
I had enough leftover and decided to make a partner pillow. I did a quilted top to this pillow. That took me what seemed like forever to stich each of those squares.

and the back...
I wanted the backs to be just as pretty as the fronts!
I send them off today.

Looky @ my new bag.

I got a package in the mail the other day!
it was from Jennifer Paganelli
This bag was made by Pink Lemonade Bags and here is the pattern from her website!

My First baby quilt!

This is not PINK...

And a quilt is really hard to photograph.

See my binding. I need to work on that...

The back has the super softest minkee.

I did hand embroider the sailboat! I think I got the patter from hoop love on flicker.

My ginham 'flags' didn't quite end up matching correctly. I am a work in progress here.

This is a baby gift for a friend, hope she likes it.
